Promote social justice.
Women SOAR was founded to respond to the injustice in our country that is fueled by alarming politics, policies, and rhetoric.
We promote social justice by collectively giving to organizations that assist people who are hurt in the current political climate.
Our Focus
We give to organizations that:
work with people who are hurt by cruel and unjust federal policies, laws, and rhetoric.
protect the rights of women, immigrants, people of color, and other groups that face discrimination.
fight racism, bigotry, sexism and intolerance.
promote equity, justice and political power for underrepresented people.
Our Grantees
Each year members of SOAR vote on our priority issues. We then find and fund small organizations that are dedicated to fighting for justice in these areas. Over the last six years, we have supported voter rights, access to reproductive health care, migrant legal representation, gun violence prevention, LGBTQ organizing, criminal justice reform, and many other critical initiatives across the country.
